How to calculate the capacity of paper machine

The production capacity of a paper machine is expressed by the number of tons of paper produced per day. It can be calculated as follows:

Where: G'—production capacity of paper machine (t/h)

k1 — Capacity rate (%)

k2 — Yield rate (%)

k3 — Daily average production time of paper machine (h)

Fourdrinier paper machine is generally counted in 22~22.5 hours, and cylinder paper machine is generally counted in 22.5~23 hours; the output of paper machine is generally calculated based on 330~340 days of production per year.

The faster speed of paper machine,greater paper width, the higher paper making rate and the yield, the longer average daily production time (working time),paper machine's production capacity is greater.

The capacity of paper machine refers to the weight of paper roll that is actually removed from the dryer or reel cylinder. The unit is expressed in "kg" or "ton". However, when calculating the production capacity of the paper machine or preparing the plan, the theoretical copying amount is calculated by the calculation method. Calculated as follows:

Where: G — theoretical papermaking capacity of paper machine (kg/h)

B — The width of the rough paper on the reel (m)

g — basis weight of paper (g/m2)

V — paper machine speed (m/min)

For example, the speed of the paper machine is 56.5 m/min, the width of the rolled paper is 1.62 m, and the basis weight of the paper is 52 g/m2, then:

G=0.06×56.5×1.62×52=285.6 (kg/hour)
